Nuestras Historias: Latinos in Richmond

There are approximately 100,000 Latinos in the Richmond metropolitan area who represent a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. As Latinos immigrate to Richmond, they establish permanent ties to their new home and begin to transform its culture. Through interviews, objects and images, this exhibition documents the region’s diverse Latino experience. Daily, Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Virginia529 Kids Run

This one-mile event for kids ages 5 to 12 features all of the excitement of the 10k. They’ll kick off the morning by warming up with music and mingling with some local mascots until the start gun goes off. They’ll finish to the roar of a crowd through the same chute as the 10k-ers, where they’ll get a commemorative medal and head into a secure meeting area.
