Get Fit and Give Back with RFM-Supported Events for the Family


    There are so many ways for families to get fit and give back in #RVA this spring! RFM is proud to support these upcoming events. Whether you’re participating or just cheering on the kids and adults who are getting active for a great cause, there are lots of ways to show support.


    Walk for Wishes

    Stony Point Fashion Park
    Saturday, May 6, 9:30AM

    Registration begins at 8:30AM. Following the 2-mile walk, there will be a celebration ceremony and lots of family-fun events.


    Race for the Cure

    Brown’s Island
    Saturday, May 13
    Competitive Run 7:30AM, Recreational Walk 9AM

    Competitive run is first, followed by survivor parade at 8:15, awards ceremony at 8:30, and recreational walk at 9:00 a.m.

    CASA Superhero Run
    St. Joseph’s Villa

    Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
    Kids’ Run at 9:30 a.m.
    Timed 5K Race at 10:00 a.m.
    Games and activities for the whole family will begin at 9:30 a.m.


    ASK 5K and Fun Walk

    The Diamond
    Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcomed. Take off from the Flying Squirrels’ stadium and make your way through the area neighborhoods and finish in the infield, crossing home plate. Water stops and spirit stations line the way.


    Walk To Remember 5K Run/Walk

    Virginia War Memorial

    Check-in: 7:00-8:00 a.m.
    Opening Ceremony: 8:00 a.m.
    Timed run/walk : 8:30 a.m.

    Sponsored by Virginia War Memorial/Priority Automotive, the sixth annual event gives everyone the opportunity to “run with the troops.” Children in strollers are welcome. Kids’ fun run is free, but pre-registration is required.
