Cynthia Myron: Artist-in-Residence

Cynthia’s work explores the physicality and emotional weight of constructed spaces, particularly the home. Working first in carved wax, she casts elements in pewter which are added to her illustrations to create “three-dimensional drawings.” She will be on site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week from noon-4pm. Stop by and see what she’s up to!

Saturday is all about 2D Design – house tours, sketching, map-making, and a team activity. Sunday is focused on 3D Design – activities on the basics of building strong structures, including an egg drop. For students entering 1st through 5th grade. Registration is required, you can register for a single day or both.

An architectural tour of the historic home, the Branch House. See rooms rarely opened to the public and discover the distinctive architectural features that make this Tudor-Revival home, designed by renowned architect John Russell Pope, an important historic and cultural landmark. Registration can be found on their website. ($, Free for members)
