Thursday, May 26
Nutzy and Nutasha are teaming up with the Duke Dog of James Madison University on Thursday to bring school spirit. Students and staff at JMU get discounted tickets if they show their ID at the ticket booth. Enjoy In-Your-Face Fireworks from up close and inside the fences after the game.
Friday, May 27
The Squirrels kick off Memorial Day Weekend with Funnville Friday Happy Hour. Enjoy two-dollar, 12-ounce domestic beers from 5:30 to 7:30. The Flying Squirrels are also releasing a new, co-branded, canned cocktail at Friday’s game. Belle Isle Moonshine and the Squirrels worked to create Cherry Lime Drive, a tangy and sweet creation to cool you down. The Flying Squirrels are also celebrating nurses and all they do for our community. Nurses can present a valid badge or ID at the ticket booth for a free general admission ticket to Friday’s game.
Saturday, May 28
Start your summer at The Diamond on Saturday with In-Your-Face Fireworks presented by Breeze Airways and all the in-game fun. First pitch is at 6:05 against the Yard Goats.
Sunday, May 29
The first 1,000 kids, fourteen and younger, will receive a free red, white, and blue bucket hat presented by Pepsi and Aquafina. Go early for pre-game catch on the field presented by Nesquik from 12:45 to 1:05. Kids can feel like a minor-league player with post-game Kids Run the Bases presented by Richmond Family Magazine.
