Western Youth Football & Cheerleading is gearing up to welcome local families to an exciting Spring Football (non-contact) & Cheerleading Camp and Community Cookout on Saturday, May 17th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Quioccasin Middle School (9400 Quioccasin Rd, Henrico). The event is completely free and open to boys and girls ages 5–12.
Camp will be led by top local athletes and coaches. Participants will enjoy skill-building drills, games, and teamwork activities. Featured instructors include:
- Zach Chambers, University of Richmond Linebacker
- Monty Smalley, Tuckahoe Middle School Head Football Coach
- Freeman High School Football Players
- Midlothian High School Varsity Cheerleaders

This camp is open to all levels of athleticism. The camp promises a fun, laid-back atmosphere where kids can learn new skills, build confidence, and enjoy engaging activities, whether they’re new to the sport or returning players. Families are encouraged to come out for a family-friendly morning of football, cheer, and connecting with other Wildcat families.
After the camp, participants and families are invited to stick around for a Community Cookout at noon. The cookout will be a great way to meet other Wildcat families, meet the coaches, and ask questions about our upcoming exciting season.
What to bring: Kids only need to wear athletic attire, cleats, or tennis shoes—no other gear is required.
