Register to Win Admission for the Family to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden
We declared 2021 the Year of the Field Trip so we could help families explore our region and learn about nature, history, and the arts.
Explore, learn, and grow in more than fifty acres of outdoor space at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the garden includes more than a dozen themed areas, including a Children’s Garden, Conservatory, and Kroger Community Kitchen Garden which grows fresh produce for area food banks.
Special summer programming:
• Wednesdays Alfresco: Garden open until 9 p.m. with food available for purchase.
• Flowers After 5 (Thursdays): Garden open until 9 p.m. with live music and food available for purchase. The second and fourth Thursday nights of each month are also Fidos After 5 nights when leashed dogs are allowed.
• “The Secret Lives of Bugs” is a pop-up micro-exhibit where guests can drop by from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on select days to get an up-close and personal introduction to some of our weird and wonderful native bugs.
• Throughout the summer, artists-in-residence Unicia Buster and Alfonso Pérez Acosta will be creating art inspired by nature.
