DESCRIPTION:Get ready for the BEST RIDE yet! Join us for the 7th Annual Go Forward Together Ride on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Everything kicks off at Final Gravity Brewing Co. Join us for the end-of-season cycling celebration that brings together cyclists, families, and the community, all to benefit the Forward Foundation VA, a nonprofit supporting working single parents in Central Virginia. A Ride for Cyclists, a Festival for Everyone!! The GFT Ride offers a choice between scenic 30- or 50-mile routes through the Ashland area countryside, or a 10-Mile Community Ride in Richmond’s historic Northside. Don’t Ride, no problem! Join us for outdoor fun at Forward Fest from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, for a lively, family and pet friendly afterparty open to all, whether you’re riding or not. Forward Fest is a community celebration that takes place in the back lot at Final Gravity Brewing Co. in Lakeside, VA. We will have live music on the main stage featuring popular local band, 64 Crayons, local food trucks, giveaways, fabulous raffle prizes, and fun outdoor games for everyone to enjoy. There will be exciting exhibitions & demonstrations from the Swingers competitive jump rope team and Kul Wheels electric bikes. Once again, our official beer of the Go Forward Together Ride the Go Forward Pilsner will be available with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the Foundation. For those moved by the spirit of community engagement but not partaking in spirits, non-alcoholic options are available.
