Arrayed in stunning traditional Mongolian clothing, the nine-member group creates unforgettable rhythms with throat-singing and traditional instruments including the morin khuur (horse-headed fiddle) and the maodun chaoer (three-holed flute). As with all nomads, the Mongols have an oral culture, passed on from generation to generation in stories, music, and songs. Recommended for all ages. Arrive early for a pre-performance discussion with members of Anda Union at 6:30 p.m.
