SUMMARY:Saturday Story Time and Craft at Tyrannosaurus Tot
DESCRIPTION:Every Saturday morning at Tyrannosaurus Tot starts the same way: we read a picture book together, then the kids make something from it. A story about the ocean becomes a paper-plate jellyfish. A story about a garden becomes seed art. Everything is set up and waiting; grown-ups stay and make too. Tyrannosaurus Tot is a children’s bookstore and art studio in one room at 113 W Brookland Park Blvd in Richmond’s Northside, run by Jalesa and John Dodson. The shop carries picture books through tween reads, plus weekly classes, open studio drop-ins, birthday parties and a family membership. Storytime & Craft is for ages 3 to 12. Younger siblings are welcome with a grown-up. Save a spot at luma.com/tyrannosaurustot so we know how many tables to set. Walk-ins are welcome while seats last.
