SUMMARY:Talking With Children About Race and Racism
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: This 90-minute workshop will be both in-person and on-line (Eventbrite and Zoom webinar link to be provided). Gene Cash, LCSW, LISW-S, Founder and Executive Director of the Counseling Alliance of Virginia, will lead participants (parents and other caregivers and professionals) in discussion and thought-provoking exercises to facilitate our talking with our children about race and racism. Gene is a dynamic speaker and group facilitator and has dedicated his life and career to supporting families and communities who have faced challenges in their lives.
