Virginia Thanksgiving Festival

The festivities begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Colonial period re-enactors, encampment. petting zoo, parade, tribal dancers, choral groups, and musicians. Families take part in Colonial games, dancing, and demonstrations. The re-enactment of the first Thanksgiving begins at 3:00 p.m. followed by the traditional Native American friendship dance which concludes the day. Food, house tours, and homemade arts, crafts and jewelry are available for sale. There is also a silent auction. $25 a car.
