Students explore these animal adaptations with hands-on activities and a visit from a well-protected creature. Participants will venture outside to complete a “senses and defenses” scavenger hunt. Balance and Dizziness Seminar

Do you have problems with balance or dizziness? The afternoon will begin with a short lecture to identify causes of dizziness, discuss how our bodies balance, and describe what vestibular therapy is and how it can be helpful. Participants will then rotate through stations to demonstrate several balance and vestibular testing procedures that vestibular therapists use when evaluating patients.
