Flying Squirrels are Looking for Gameday Staff

Job-seekers looking for part-time employment can apply at three upcoming job fairs

The Richmond Flying Squirrels have added an additional job fair preceding the upcoming baseball season for Wed., March 25 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Diamond for job seekers looking for part-time employment during the spring and summer months. The date is in addition to the two remaining Flying Squirrels job fairs on March 21 and April 4.

The Flying Squirrels are seeking gameday employees for their 70 home games at The Diamond in concessions, hospitality, tickets and more. Home games begin on April 16 and run through Sept. 7. The 2020 Flying Squirrels game schedule can be found here.

Available positions include concession stand managers, cashiers, food runners, suite/party deck attendants, grillmasters, banquet supervisors, bartenders, head cashiers, line cooks, prep cooks, clean team, dishwashers, fry cooks, ticket sellers, vendors and more.

The two remaining previously scheduled job fairs will be held on Sat., March 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Sat, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
