Gelati Celesti Ice Cream plans to open a new location in Richmond in Scott’s Addition at 1400 N. Boulevard.
“Scott’s Addition is a burgeoning neighborhood and we are thrilled to announce that we have signed a lease at 1400 N. Boulevard with an anticipated opening in late summer 2016,” commented Steve Rosser, owner of Gelati Celesti. We selected Scott’s Addition as the location for our new store because of its convenience to the Fan, Northside, and Malvern Area.”
The upcoming Scott’s Addition location will be the fourth store for Gelati Celesti in the Richmond area. “We’re pleased to be working with UrbanCore Development, who specializes in restoring historic buildings,” said Rosser. “We are drawn to the dynamic and diverse neighborhood. The energetic atmosphere of Gelati Celesti is perfect for the creative and eclectic residents and visitors to this part of Richmond and we are incredibly excited to be a part of this community’s revitalization.”

About Gelati Celesti:
Gelati Celesti was established in 1984 as a collaboration between father and son. Peter Edmonds and his father, John, opened the business with one location in Richmond, Virginia with a shared vision and a single goal—to bring joy to others by making and serving the very best ice cream possible. Today, the unique process and service philosophy remains unchanged under the leadership of current owners Steve and Kim Rosser, who oversee the three stores, a food truck, and an ice cream kitchen all in the Richmond area. They are honored to continue the Gelati Celesti tradition of handmade, small batch, premium ice cream. For further information please visit: www.gelatiicecream.com.
