    Are you signed up yet? Walks, run, and other fitness events are a fantastic way to spend time together as a family and support community organizations that help kids and families.

     

    There are so many ways for families to get fit and give back in #RVA this fall! RFM is proud to sponsor these upcoming events. Whether you’re walking, running, or just cheering on the participants and enjoying time together as a family, there are lots of ways to show support.

    Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m., depending on age. Richmond’s largest timed road race just for kids. Medals, t-shirts, and refreshments for all participants. Awards for top age group and overall winners. The top five schools with the most registered participants will be awarded a total of $2,000 for their P.E. programs and every school with 25+ runners will win a cash prize!     5K Run/Advocacy Walk at 9:00AM. Ride the RVA Trolley the whole/part way if you’d like! Free family festival 9:00AM-1:00PM featuring live music by Premiere, children’s activities, pie throwing, pumpkin patch, fashion show featuring individuals with DS modeling the latest fashions from Dillard’s, sponsor and nonprofit displays, and more.  Breakfast & lunch will be available for purchase.     Activities begin at 8:30AM, program begins at 9:30AM, walk begins at 10:00AM for this non-competitive 1 mile or 5K (3.1 mile) walk.     ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation           8th Annual Dunkin’ Donuts Munchkins Run

    Kids’ Donut Dash at 8:00 a.m. and Munchkins 5K Run/Walk begins at 9:00 a.m. and features munchkin stops at miles 1 and 2, and an AWESOME Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast finish with donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and traditional post-race fuel.
