Komen Richmond Virtual More Than Pink Walk

On event day, listen online to hear stories from their survivors and those living with breast cancer, to learn about the impact of Komen’s research discoveries, public policy advocacy and direct patient support services, and to celebrate your fundraising success. Then, they encourage you to set out on the sidewalks of your own neighborhood to earn your Virtual Finisher Medal by walking 6,000 steps for your commitment to end breast cancer. Regency Mile

The largest timed youth-only road race in Richmond, The Regency Mile features school participation cash awards, one-year age group heats, and awards for overall winners. All proceeds benefit local kids through the Live Red Foundation’s free community fitness programs and donations to local schools’ PE programs. Register/more info: livered.org

Step Up for Down Syndrome

Innsbrook, Your Route

 

Walk wherever you are to raise awareness and funds for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond. Parade Festival featuring car decorating contest, jump rope exhibition, medals for all DS Superstars and kids 10 and under, parade participant photos, music, live performances, return of the “Team Captain Village”, pumpkin patch, exhibitors, and lots of family fun. Making Strides
