Regency Square will host Sensitive Santa on Sunday, December 11, from six to eight o’clock. Children on the autism spectrum have an opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with Santa this Christmas. Families are invited to experience Santa without the common hustle and bustle and what is commonly called sensory overload.
Families can book during certain times easing the experience of standing in long lines, and have their child or children photographed with Santa in an autism-friendly setting. The sensory-friendly environment provides a low stress, quiet surrounding which creates an ideal setting to meet with Santa. The event is a first for Regency Square and a response to requests from area families with kids who have special needs related to sensory processing.
To schedule a time to meet with Santa, call (804) 740-1518. Bookings are highly recommended.
