MARTIN’S Tour of Richmond: Walk-up Registration Available

Second Annual MARTIN’S Tour of Richmond Breaks Entry Record – 1,000 Riders Registered

Walk-up registration available Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5

MartinsTour_SportBackersThe second annual MARTIN’S Tour of Richmond will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, with 102-mile, 59-mile, and 29-mile routes available to participants.  A record number of riders have signed up to take part in the event.  At the close of online registration on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1,044 riders were signed up, an increase over last year’s 974 total riders.

All participants must pick up their bib number and course cue sheet on Friday, Oct. 4 between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Richmond International Raceway or on Saturday, Oct. 5 at their respective starting locations prior to the start of the ride. Walk-up registration for each distance will also be available at all locations during packet pick-up hours.
There will be NO RIDE DAY transfers.

Friday, October 4

10:00 a.m.                   UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team members Brad White and Jonny Clarke visit to Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School

4 p.m. – 7 p.m.            Packet pick-up available for all riders at Richmond Raceway Complex

5:30 p.m.                     30-minute Q&A session with UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team members Brad White and Jonny Clarke

 

Saturday, October 5

6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.                102-mile packet pick-up/walk-up registration available

7:30 a.m.                                  102-mile ride start

8:30 a.m.  – 10 a.m.                  59-mile packet pick-up/walk-up registration at J. Sargeant Reynolds Goochland Campus

10 a.m.                                     59-mile ride start at J. Sargeant Reynolds Goochland Campus

11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.                  29-mile packet pick-up/walk-up registration at Patrick Henry High School

12 p.m.                                     UnitedHealthcare Post Ride Party begins at Richmond Raceway Complex

12:30 p.m.                                 29-mile ride start at Patrick Henry High School

2 p.m.                                       30-min autograph session:  UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling TeamBrad White and Jonny Clarke

6 p.m.                                      Course officially closes

6:30 p.m.                                 UnitedHealthcare Post Ride Party ends
