The Faison School for Autism is a nonprofit autism center that serves students ages 18 months to 22 years with on-site and off-site programs utilizing the evidence-based principles of applied behavior analysis. Dedicated to providing resources for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and their families, the school offers a variety of consultative services, including home-program support, school consultation, after-care and summer programs and community workshops. The Faison School represents a unique private/public partnership collaboration between a nonprofit school and major university research partners: the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins University, and the Teachers College at Columbia University.
