ArtVenture Summer Camp at Visual Arts Center
At the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, kids aged 5 to 14-years-old make art with the help of some of Richmond’s most talented professional artists. Kids choose from courses in a wide range of artistic media. Some favorites include wheel throwing, darkroom photography, stop motion animation and mural painting. One-week sessions run from June 15 to September 4, 2020. Build a summer schedule that works for you! Morning classes are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and afternoon classes are from 1 to 4 p.m. Parents can purchase our extended day add-on for just $50 to pick up any time before 5:30 p.m. Parents who sign up for a week of both morning and afternoon classes can send their child with a lunch to eat at VisArts during a supervised lunch hour, free of charge. Teens aged 15 to 18 years old should consider VisArts’ Art League Program, which runs in the evenings during the summer.
