Nitya Living Summer Yoga Camp
We Are Yogis – We will focus on understanding what Yoga is, yoga toolbox, making journals, understanding the philosophy or ethics of yoga, and we will end our week with a walking field trip to Texas Beach.
We Are Karma Yogis – Teaching kids the importance of community service, of thinking of others, and being kind.
Hi Lights for this week are: Knitting hats and sock dolls for the children at the Children’s Hospital, feeding the homeless, fundraiser family yoga class to raise money for the NAACP, donations to Caritas, and trash pick up in Carytown.
We Are Peace; practicing mindfulness in our daily life
Hi Lights of the week are: walking meditation, sitting meditation, exploring our emotions, listening to nature, and group cooperative activities.
We Are Love; Exploring our Origin Story
Hi Lights of this week: World religions and cultures, our own heritage, family tree, ethnic foods, and more.
We Are United
Hi Lights of this week: Making quilts, dream catcher affirmations, making time capsules, and more.
