Registration for Pine Camp Arts and Community Center’s Fall 2024 Classes is now open! Offering classes in dance, visual arts, theater, music, fiber arts, pottery, and more for all ages, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’ve been studying your craft for years, or you’re a beginner wanting to pick up a new hobby, there is a class for you!
Two Area Locations
In addition to classes at Pine Camp Cultural Arts Center, located at 4901 Old Brook Road, classes will also be held at Hickory Hill Community Center, located at 3000 East Belt Blvd.
Dozens of Classes to Choose From
When you visit the website, you’ll see a wide variety of class options. Some favorites include:
- Child’s Play – A “Mommy and Me” class for children ages 2 to 5, and their parent, utilizing play-based education. Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 17th through October 15th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at Hickory Hill Community Center.
- Tiny Tales with Virginia Rep – Stories come alive as children ages 4 to 6 delve into the imaginary worlds of their favorite books. Using age-appropriate creative drama, experienced Virginia Repertory Theatre teaching artists guide the participants through a fun, interactive and multi-sensory journey through a work of children’s literature. Wednesdays, September 4th through December 11th from 3:30PM – 4:30PM at Pine Camp Arts & Community Center.
- Intro to Art – Young artists ages 4 to 6 will explore a variety of art materials and techniques to get a taste of the realm of art. Dive into drawing, painting, mixed media, and more as you discover your favorite ways to create art. Tuesdays, September 3rd through December 10th at Pine Camp Arts & Community Center.
