Each week students focus on a different aspect of summer adventure! Lynnhaven School, located in Eastern Henrico — with transportation pick up and drop off conveniently located in Bon Air, offers four themed weeks for rising 6th-9th graders.
June 13-17 River Week: Campers will explore the river system in and around Richmond with a different river each day – James, York, Rappahannock, and Pamunkey. Essential Supplies: Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Water Shoes, Towel, Daily Lunch, Water bottle ($250)
June 20-24 Beach Week: Campers will get to enjoy life at the beach from York Beach, Buckroe Beach, Bear Creek Lake State Park, and Twin Lakes State Park. Essential Supplies: Sunscreen, Swimwear, Towel, Hat, Daily Lunch, Water bottle ($250)
June 27-July 1 Peak Week: Peak week is all about hiking! Campers will adventure each day – Belle Isle, Dutch Gap, Pocahontas State Park, and ending on a HIGH note with Humpback Rocks. Essential Supplies: Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Hiking/Tennis Shoes, Daily Lunch, Water bottle ($250)
July 5-8 Camp Out Week: Campers will get a crash course in life in the outdoors, from fire building and outdoor cooking to campsite essentials. This week includes one camp-out overnight on Thursday! Essential Supplies: Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Sleeping Bag, Daily Lunch, Water bottle ($250)
All sessions include a camp t-shirt.
