“Pictures from an Exhibition – A Remembrance of Viktor Hartmann”; a suite of ten pieces composed for the piano by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky in 1874. In 1874 an exhibition of Hartmann’s pictures was organized in the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. Mussorgsky went to the exhibition and was inspired to compose his piano piece.

Pre-concert festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. in Rhythm Hall. Ideal for children ages 5 and up, but music lovers of all ages are welcome.
