Fork Union Military Academy

Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Virginia, is a college preparatory, Christian, military-style boarding school for young men in grades 7 through 12 and postgraduates. Founded in 1898, Fork Union Military Academy has a rich tradition promoting character, leadership, faith, discipline, and scholarship. While our Middle School students follow a traditional multi-subject curriculum suited for the developmental level of younger boys, our Upper School students follow a unique “One Subject Plan” of study, concentrating on a single major subject every seven weeks. The One Subject Plan has a remarkable record of success in helping young men attain outstanding academic achievement where 100% of Fork Union graduates are accepted into a college or university.
