Oakland School

Oakland is a small co-ed boarding and day school located in the countryside of central Virginia, just east of beautiful Charlottesville. We help enable bright children ages 6-13, at admission, to reach their academic and personal potential, despite possible learning difficulties, through class sizes with low student-to-teacher ratios and individualized academic programs. We specialize in working with children who have language-based learning differences, organizational difficulties, or those who thrive in a personalized educational setting. Every student receives at least one daily one-to-one instruction session that is geared to fit his/her needs, at that time.
