Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Open House Week Celebrating Literacy

Chesterbrook Academy Preschool locations in Richmond will host multiple open house events starting on Tuesday, Oct. 22 through Saturday, Oct. 26. The fun, engaging events will provide opportunities for interested families to meet school leaders and teachers, explore classrooms, learn about Chesterbrook Academy’s signature Links to Learning curriculum, and participate in activities surrounding literacy and Jumpstart’s 19th Annual Read for the Record event.

Open House events include:
– Literacy in Action – On Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 9:30-11:00 a.m., take a sneak peek into classrooms. See how teachers make learning come alive with activities inspired by the book Piper Chen Sings as part of the school’s Read for the Record efforts.

– Pizza & Storytime Night – Join the school for dinner. Enjoy pizza, tour the school, and attend our exclusive Read for the Record storytime featuring Piper Chen Sings on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 6-8 p.m.

– Weekend Walkthrough – On Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., tour the school, experience the hands-on classroom centers, and discover how the literacy-based curriculum equips children with the skills they need for both kindergarten and life.
