Remco van Vliet: The Master at Work
Remco, a third-generation Dutch floral designer, has curated a presentation specially for History Blooms 2026. Growing up in the world of flowers, Remco trained as a Master Florist. As the primary floral designer for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Remco’s stunning arrangements show flowers as works of art. His prettier-than-pictures floral creations bring beauty to life. As a partner in event design firm Van Vliet and Trap, Remco has worked with clients from global luxury brands to major cultural and financial institutions, consulates, universities and foundations. In this exclusive teaching engagement, Remco will share stories of his lifelong immersion in flowers and delight the audience with jaw-dropping creations.
