VCU Pharmacy Explorers

VCU Pharmacy Explorers is a half-day, week-long summer program offered to middle schoolers who are interested in exploring the pharmacy profession. During the program, students will meet pharmacists, tour the hospital pharmacy, conduct nonsterile compounding, strengthen presentation skills and learn about various career pathways in pharmacy.

Activities include:
Hospital pharmacy tour
Nonsterile compounding
Career pathway exploration

Program cost: $50

Lunch is provided Monday through Thursday.

Parents are invited to tour the school and see students’ final presentations from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday.
