A Conversation with Veronica Jackson

Meet one of the artists behind Americana. Join us at The Branch on Thursday, August 27 at 6pm for an evening with artist Veronica Jackson, whose BLACKTIVISTS series honor thirteen overlooked women whose advocacy helped shape America. In conversation with The Washington Post’s Greg Schneider, Jackson will discuss her artistic practice and why the series continues to resonate as Americans reconsider whose stories are remembered and whose are forgotten. Tickets are $20 and include wine, beer, and light bites. Free parking is available in the First Baptist parking lot next to the museum.
