Walking in Purpose

Join us for Walking in Purpose: A Faith-Centered Family Experience, hosted and sponsored by Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Aylett, Virginia. Presented by Manifest • Plan • Prosper (MPP), a collaboration between LaTonya Thomas of Creations by LaTonya and King William native Jenine Young of Social Linkage, this event brings generations together through faith, vision, gratitude, and action. As MPP’s Vision Guide, LaTonya brings her creativity and experience leading vision board activities. Jenine, a strategic marketing advisor and MPP’s Momentum Guide, uses her capacity-first approach to help participants turn their visions into practical steps that fit real life. Families will create shared vision boards celebrating family goals and individual dreams. Participants will also make age-appropriate action boards, contribute to a community Gratitude Tree, and identify practical steps they can take toward their goals. The experience includes a conversation about worthiness, self-care and heart health with fellow King William native Nichele Cosby, a nuclear medicine technologist and author of Worthy Still. Attendees can enjoy Momentum Builder Tea provided by Abundant Treasures Tea, along with light refreshments. As part of our community giving initiative, guests are invited to bring optional canned or nonperishable food donations to support local Thanksgiving meal efforts. All ages are welcome! Advance registration is encouraged to help us prepare materials. Walk-ins are welcome.
