A Party Playhouse

What is the summer program for Preschoolers at A Party Playhouse? Our summer themed program is all about FUN, SELF AWARENESS AND IMAGINATION! As a former Teacher and Recreation Therapist, I have designed our programs to allow your child to explore decision making, develop social skills and learn to interact with others. Our PRESCHOOL Playgroups are each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 – 12:00. Moms and their little ones get out of the house for regularly scheduled playtime, stories, crafts and snacks! Preschool Camps: Each themed week will allow their imagination to soar and develop relationships with friends. Our program will follow a daily schedule very similar to a preschool class or traditional school environment. A typical day may include the following activities: Check in and free play, “Let’s review our day’s activities” and assign “leaders” for the day, Story time and gratitude lesson for the day. (IE: Kindness or controlling your emotions), Games (problem solving), Crafts (Fine motor / Eye hand coordination), Dramatic Play (imagination), Snacks. Camps operate 2 sessions per week: Our camps only offer 12 spaces per session to ensure your little one gets the most out of our program! Session 1: 9:00 -12:00 (3 and 4yr old) Session 2: 1:00 – 4:00 (5 and 6 yr old) Each themed week will include the following: Art, Games, Developing Friendships, Dramatic Play, Sports, Music, and so much more. *Snack/drinks provided. Located in Mechanicsville, these programs are for 3-6 year olds. If your child will be entering the preschool/kindergarten programs in the fall of 2025, our programs will assist with the transition! This is a day program. We will remain at our location for all camps/programs and have special visitors!
