Girls Who Code’s virtual Summer Programs are back for summer 2025 to equip high school girls and non-binary students with the skills, confidence, and connections they need to launch their futures and succeed.
Summer Programs offer accessible learning and professional development opportunities to high schoolers, without requiring fees or prior coding experience. Students can choose from two impactful programs tailored to their interests and schedules:
- The Summer Immersion Program (SIP) is a two-week, live virtual classroom experience where students code creative computer games, gain practical college and career insights from industry professionals, and build lifelong friendships as they learn and collaborate with peers.
- Pathways is a six-week, self-paced program that offers flexibility to explore tech topics like artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and web development, including a brand-new course on responsible AI.
More than learning to code, the Summer Programs offer 9th-12th-grade students of all skill levels exclusive access to Partner Events, mentorship, an exclusive Discord community, and–for SIP participants specifically–critical financial support through SIP Student Grants and access to laptops and hotspots for eligible participants.
High school girls and non-binary students discover their potential while opening doors to future opportunities. Apply to Girls Who Code’s Summer Programs at girlswhocode.com/summerapply by February 26, 2025, for priority consideration. The application closes on April 11, 2025.
