This performance course runs May 12 through June 13 and is designed with the musical theatre lover in mind. Students will be offered synchronous (real-time) online rehearsals, led by Irene Kuykendall (director) and Anthony Smith (music director). Performers will rotate through scene work, singing, and choreography and will engage with guided instruction in preparation for a virtual showcase to be shared with friends and family.
The show is based on Jeff Brown’s celebrated children’s book who comes to life in this adventurous, toe-tapping new musical. Ten-year-old Stanley Lambchop finds himself in a tight spot after a bulletin board unexpectedly falls and flattens him into a human pancake. With hopes of finding a solution to this challenging new way of life, Stanley is stamped and mailed from France to Hollywood and beyond.
Class times are Wednesdays (5:30 to 7:00 p.m.) and Sundays (12:00 to 2:00 p.m.). Tuition is $500 per student.
