Fresh from her Grammy-winning run with supergroup boygenius, Lucy Dacus is touring in support of her fourth studio album, “Forever Is a Feeling.” A native of Mechanicsville, Virginia, and a graduate of Richmond’s Maggie Walker Governor’s School, her show at the Altria Theater represents a sort of homecoming for the artist Rolling Stone called “one of the best songwriters of her generation.” She has performed on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Both as a solo artist and with boygenius, she has performed at Lollapalooza, Coachella, and behind NPR’s Tiny Desk.
Her latest release, “Forever Is a Feeling,” includes contributions from Hozier (an Iron Blossom alum), boygenius bandmates Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, Madison Cunningham, and more.
