Bring your tiny ghosts and goblins to the University of Richmond campus for the seventeenth annual “Trick or Treat Street,” October 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This free, community-wide family fun event takes place on Westhampton Green on Keller Road, which is off of College Road. Parking will be available on Crenshaw Way, outside the Jepson Alumni Center.
Local families can enjoy food from Firehouse BBQ and Gelati Celesti food trucks, a bounce house and other themed activities, including straw mazes, presented by costume-clad University of Richmond students. WebstUR, Richmond’s spider mascot, will also make an appearance. You can also sign up for the Spiderlings kids club program for just $5 to receive free tickets for select UR games and other perks.
“We love being able to provide a safe and fun environment for Halloween activities,” said Cristina Shipe, a UR student and President of Trick or Treat Street. “We look forward to celebrating this fun holiday with local families.”
Hundreds of children attend this event with their families each year. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to FeedMore, a Central Virginia’s community food bank.
