40th Birthday Celebration

Celebrate the Midlothian Book Exchange’s 40th birthday with us. We will have door prize drawings every hour. We will have a sweet treat while supplies last. You will receive our birthday sticker and an entry to win one of our birthday totes, when you make a purchase that day. We will have hidden animals on the shelves in our kids section. Midlothian Book Exchange, a locally owned bookstore and longtime community fixture, is celebrating its 40th birthday this year. Established in 1986, the shop has grown into one of the region’s largest and most welcoming independent used bookstores, known for its diverse inventory and affordable prices. Located at 13198 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian Book Exchange specializes in gently used books for readers. Our mission is to make used books available to readers of all ages, “said co-owner Caroline Davidson. “Our books come at affordable prices, in a comfortable and welcoming setting.” The bookstore spans more than 7,200 square feet and is home to an estimated 175,000 titles, most priced at half the original cover price.
