For 40 years, the energy of Smallwood has brought gospel and pop together. Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Destiny’s Child have performed his music. The Richmond Symphony presents this tribute to Richard Smallwood, featuring guest vocalist Desirèe Roots and Richmond’s finest gospel choirs.
