Bird Blitz 2024

This event will also serve as a citizen science data-gathering event. Document the feathered creatures seen on birding walks, get creative with a bird-themed craft, learn about native plants that help our avian friends, and maybe even go home with a free native plant to put in your garden. The birds will be outside rain or shine, so this is an any-weather event. For questions, email powhatan@dcr.virginia.gov.
