Central Virginia Celebrates the Spring Festival

The Spring Festival, celebrating the traditional Lunar New Year, was recognized worldwide for its rich cultural traditions and community spirit by UNESCO on December 4, 2024. To celebrate the Year of the Horse, the OCA–Central Virginia Chapter (OCA-CVC) invites you to the Spring Festival Celebration on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at J. R. Tucker High School (2910 N. Parham Road, Henrico, VA). This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and will feature lion dances, folk music and dance performances, cultural displays, children’s crafts, and authentic Chinese food. As Central Virginia continues to grow in diversity, this celebration offers a wonderful opportunity to experience and appreciate Asian cultural traditions.
