Coded Language and the Underground Railroad

When the Underground Railroad was in operation, those escaping slavery and those assisting them couldn’t speak plainly about what they were doing. To pass messages along (very relatively) safely, they would use coded language. Come learn some of the words and phrases they used, and what they meant.
