In this series, VMHC staff curate displays featuring some of the museum’s millions of artifacts and manuscripts that are not currently on exhibit. In addition to a themed presentation, guests are led on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the museum’s storage areas to examine the museum’s collection up close while interacting with VMHC staff members. For centuries, society has been fascinated by headline grabbing stories of humanity at its worst. Virginia has seen its fair share of notorious crimes and trials. Explore some of the more nefarious moments in the Commonwealth’s history.
