Experience Virginia Ukapalooza

Learn about the history and versatility of the ukulele as an instrument in this ukulele-centric concert including a variety of pieces from pop and rock genres in addition to traditional tunes. Multiple musicians from Virginia Ukapalooza, the local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, will be on-hand to demonstrate the music and beauty of the instrument and answer questions about both the ukulele and their organization which hosts the premier ukulele festival in Virgina each year. Virginia Ukapalooza donates instruments and instructional time to Central Virginia schools and libraries, including Henrico County Public Library, to further their mission of promoting the ukulele through community events, educational activities, and charitable donations.Date:
