Come experience The Laurel School and discover what an intentionally small, unhurried learning environment can make possible for your child. During our Fall Admissions Open House, families will tour our classrooms and campus, meet our founders and teachers, explore our academic program, and learn how we bring together strong academics, inquiry, outdoor exploration, close relationships, critical thinking, and meaningful work. The Laurel School is growing in both directions by adding Junior Kindergarten and sixth grade. Yet as we grow, our purpose remains unchanged: our classes are intentionally small by design so every child is known, challenged, supported, and given the time and space to develop genuine confidence and curiosity. Unhurried does not mean less rigorous. It means learning is thoughtful, purposeful, and responsive to the child.
