History Blooms
History Blooms features a robust menu of special learning opportunities and a luncheon on Friday, Feb. 20. The day kicks off with the Garden Club of Virginia’s popular Flower Arranging School, and concludes with workshops, demonstrations and a lecture. All programs are open to GCV and VMHC members as well as non-members, and tickets are available a-la-carte. Tickets for any of these programs allow for general admission to see unique floral displays throughout the museum. Created by the member clubs of the GCV, they will center on the Revolutionary theme as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of our nation. The exhibits are on display throughout the weekend, and visitors may vote for their favorite. Pick up an exhibit guide and a ballot at the front desk, and enjoy!

The Virginia Museum of History & Culture was founded in 1831 as the Virginia Historical Society.
