History Hike on the Virginia Capital Trail

Join the Valentine and the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation for this free historical walking tour during Richmond SailFest! Explore Richmond’s revolutionary history with a stroll along the Capital Trail, and learn about 400 years of industry, transportation, and recreation on the James River. Valentine walking tours are typically between 1-2 miles in length. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. Accessibility: People of all abilities are encouraged to join us.
