Learn Simple Meditation Techniques for Calm, Focus, and Emotional Balance
Families and individuals in the Richmond area are invited to attend a Learn to Meditate workshop designed to introduce simple meditation techniques that support stress management, emotional balance, and focus. This beginner-friendly session offers a gentle and practical approach to meditation, making it suitable for teens and adults with no prior experience. Participants will be guided through relaxation and meditation practices that can be easily incorporated into daily routines. The workshop also helps participants understand how everyday stress and emotions can build up over time, and how meditation can support mental clarity and emotional well-being. Along with guided practice, attendees will learn a simple mental detox technique and receive tips and resources for maintaining a regular meditation habit at home. The session includes time for questions and discussion in a calm, supportive environment. Who Can Attend This workshop is open to individuals 15 years and older. Participants under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
