A morning and evening program led by Dr. William Therrien Ph.D. Dr. Therrien is Professor at the University of Virginia where he is the director of the STAR initiative which focuses on transformative autism research. His expertise is in designing and evaluating academic programs for students with autism and learning disabilities. Join Dr. Therrien for a morning coffee chat and presentation providing information to broaden the understanding of autism; then return in the evening for a conversation between Dr. Therrien and FPC member Dr. Belva Collins. Her expertise and research are in working with students with significant support needs, including autism, with a focus on inclusion in their faith communities.
