Maker’s Studio: Seeing Differently with Agnes Grochulska

Join the Branch Museum of Design for its new quarterly series, Maker’s Studio, a hands-on program that invites you to move from observer to maker. Each session transforms the museum into a working studio where you learn directly from practicing artists and designers. No experience required. The series kicks off Wednesday, March 18 from 6 – 9 pm with Richmond-based contemporary artist Agnes Grochulska. Her workshop, Seeing Differently: Drawing What You Actually See, begins with a simple idea: better drawing isn’t about talent. It’s about observation. Through guided exercises and live instruction, participants will train their eye to see edges, proportion, light, shadow, and negative space so their drawings reflect what’s truly in front of them. Drawing materials and complimentary wine are included. Branch Members receive 10% off tickets with their annual discount code.
