Midlothian Mine Day

This event focuses on the coal mining and railroad history that abounded in the county. This event features historical coal mine tours, trolley tours of First Baptist Church of Midlothian, coal mining living history, juggling performances by Jonathan Austin, face painting, balloon twisting, caricature artist, children’s activities, and coal mining and railroad exhibits. Musical performances will feature the Harken Back String Band, Scottish bagpipe performances, and the Richmond Cadet Alumni Band. In addition, concessions will be available for purchase. This event runs in conjunction with Midlothian Village Day.
